I write songs because I need them; they help me express my emotions and questions in the Lord’s presence and find healing, comfort, and hope. My songs, much like the Psalms, are my journal entries, and in playing them I invite my listeners to experience the heart of a God who weeps with them and is close to the brokenhearted.
