Music has been my full-time ministry since 2013, and I’ve performed at churches and venues (including a few yards, basements, and living rooms) all over the United States. Some of my favorite memories are from house concerts where the trappings of production are stripped away, and I feel like I’m just singing my songs for my friends.
I sing and play acoustic guitar (with a little banjo, harmonica, and whistling thrown in), performing a repertoire of original songs inspired by Scripture, life, and my wife and daughters. I try to make music that is honest and artful and carries the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who feel broken. People tell me that I remind them of singer-songwriters like James Taylor, John Denver, or Neil Young.
