Listen to Preacher Man

Just about everywhere I perform I'm asked how I would categorize my own sound. After +25 years of songwriting it's still difficult for me to pin it down. All I can tell you is since I was a young musician playing tuba in the marching band, cello in the orchestra, jazz cornet in college and being drawn to such classic records as those of 60s folk and soul, 70s and 80s rock & roll, to 90s hip-hop and alternative -- many influences have stuck to my soul. It's evident in my own music. So basically, these originals are a new, fresh but familiar sound of the human experience. And it's always a joy whenever I get to share, through tones and lyrics, my experiences to remind you of yours. You will hear that we're more alike than we are different.
